Dr. Kusum Chandnani, as her name suggests radiates “Happiness” and “Positive energy” in every moment of her life like a fresh, blooming flower.She is a physiotherapist based in Surat, Gujarat who founded “Kusum’s Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Clinic ” that takes a holistic and integrative approach to solving musculoskeletal pain that people suffer. Her main aim is to treat patients with personalized care and bring them back to motion that too with the least sittings possible.She has also trained several gym and fitness trainers, state and national level athletes and swimmers. She has inspired many young therapists to achieve their dreams and this makes her a wonderful mentor as well.
Early Life & Achievements:
Born in a Sindhi family in Surat, she is the eldest of three daughters and hence being extremely responsible as well as obedient. Not only this, but she has also been very well –mannered, polite, humble and helpful right from her tender age. Since, her childhood, she has been a versatile personality and her multi-talents always made her “The apple of everyone’s eye” be it her school teachers, college professors, colleagues and now even all her patients. She always stood the best in whatever she did, which bagged her immense appreciation in the form of trophies, certificates, titles and much more. Some of her early life achievements include trophies like “The Best Girl Of The Year” in school, “Best Singer”, “Most Obedient Student”, “Most Talented Student”, “Topper Of The Class” and multiple sports trophies in college. Apart from this, she has excellent leadership skills that always made her to be “Monitor” in school or “CR” in college and no doubt she won hearts of everyone around her.
The Real Journey Begins:
Her Journey as a Physiotherapist started in 2007 when she completed her BPT from SDA college in Surat. Thereafter, in the same year she also married the man of her dreams, Dhiraj Chandnani, a successful businessman. Moreover, she was bestowed with motherhood in 2008 when the twinkle of her eyes, her son, Sahil, was born. She has best of both the worlds. After a Golden period of gathering sweet motherhood memories with her son, she bounced back to pursue her dream of healing people and restarted her physio practice after 3 years. Since then the journey has been never ending. She strives to give the best to her patients, for which, she polishes her skills by attending various workshops and courses and her learning continues.
Life Mission:
Her goal is to have a happy, healthy and a healed society, be it physically, mentally or emotionally. Thus, she not only treats her patients’ injuries and pain, but also motivates them and makes sure they become positive souls. Hence proved during the time of C-19 pandemic which made every person helpless, but still her drive to treat her patients continued. She taught simple techniques to her patients and continuously kept on motivating them to be fit and healthy, so that their treatment continues even at their homes. Not only this, she also took regular online follow-ups. No doubt, indeed, her patients adore her and trust her “Magical Hands” and her soul that is fuel of positivity and gives hope to people around her who are in pain.
