*SAVVY PROFFESSIONAL WOMAN-* Leena was born and bought up in Mumbai in a highly educated family. Born Genius and Creative Thinker; She is 1st class holder from Sir J. J. College of Architecture. After her first stint as the Principal Architect at 'Designers Creators'; She shaped up 'The Contractors', an interior execution firm, along with her husband, as the partner to support family crisis. They are proud to have worked with stalwart Architects like Shakti Parmar, Prem Nath, Sanjay Puri, German Architect Michael Rur and many others, to complete more than 200+ projects pan India in various categories like Commercial, Residential, Institutional, Healthcare and Public Spaces. The firm has won recognitions and received meritorious appreciation for best execution of interior projects, on and National level and in Mumbai city.

*ACCOLADES for a MULTIFACETED PERSONA-* Ar. Leena Nimbalkar has received the award 'PILLAR OF HINDUSTANI SOCIETY, LADY ARCHITECT OF SUBSTANCE' handed by Shri. Masood Khaleghi, Consul General of Iran. Courtesy Botswana Investment and Trade Centre and Trans Asian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in 2016. 

As a self-learned Nutritionist and Health planner, she has bagged 1st prize in cooking for 'Healthy and Tasty Designer Recipe' out of hundreds of entries all over India in a corporate competition and a joint 1st prize in MasterChef held by an all-women’s group in Mumbai. Some more feathers on cap are 1st prize in women's category in 'Walkathon by IIID MRC' and awards as 'Fashion Icon' and 'Best Catwalk' at other competitions. Leena is an expert in Yoga and Meditation. She is one amongst the few, to hold a certification from Patanjali Yogpeeth Haridwar, for successful completion of 'First International Conference and Course on Health Sciences and Yoga'. She is practicing the principles in her own creative way. Zumba and Contemporary Dance forms are passions too. These are the proofs of her Versatile and Dynamic personality. 

*SOCIAL CONTRIBUTION-* Leena is a proud member of 'Council of Architecture', 'Indian Institute of Architects' and only lady elected as the committee member at 'Practicing Engineers, Architects and Town Planners Association'. 

She is currently the first lady chairperson of Institute of Indian Interior Designers, Mumbai Regional Chapter, commonly known as IIID MRC; After successfully completing honorary duties as the Treasurer, Hon. Secretary, Chairperson - Elect. IIID is 48 years old non - profit organization and the only apex body of Interior fraternity; with vision 'To Consolidate and Expand Contribution of Interior Design Profession in Future and Contemporary Societies by Sharing of Knowledge, Experience and Responsibilities.' It has 33 chapters pan India and in Dubai. IIID is affiliated to, and member of various international organizations. Under Leena's leadership IIID MRC has curated events around multiple topics to aid the fraternity and motivate Gen-Next. A total of 50+ innovative projects have been pulled off individually and in collaboration with other chapters of IIID within past one+ year. Under her strong influence, she has managed to conduct events and webinars with messages and learnings from various masters of the industry. Even the pandemic couldn't not dampen her spirit.
